You Are Most Welcome Here!
We extend a special welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, gay, filthy rich, dirt poor, y ustedes no hablan inglés. We welcome you if you sing like Andrea Bocelli or sound like Texas grackles. You’re welcome if you are, “church shopping,” if you just woke up, or if you just got out of jail. Whether you are more Catholic than the Pope or haven’t been to church since little Joey’s baptism, you are most welcome here.
We extend a special welcome crying newborns, squirmy toddlers, those who are over 60 but not grown up yet and to teenagers who are growing up too fast. We welcome soccer moms, NASCAR dads, starving artists, tree-huggers, latte-sippers, vegetarians, junk-food eaters, those in recovery, and folks who are still addicted. Whether you are down in the dumps or don’t like organized religion, you’re welcome here. We’ve been there, too!
We offer a special welcome to those who think the world is flat, those who work too hard, don’t work, can’t spell, or came just because Grandma is in town. We offer a special welcome to those who could use some prayerss. We welcome those who are inked, pierced, or both. We welcome those who’ve had religion shoved down their throats or any one of you who are lost and ended up here by mistake.
We welcome tourists, seekers, doubters, bleeding hearts, and you.
Newcomer’s Information
We are thankful for your interest in St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church.
Please complete the Newcomers Registry just below to provide contact information so the church office and Newcomers Ministry Team may extend a warm welcome!
An overview of our church and some of our activities are available here on the website. The most up-to-date information is sent out weekly in our eNews.
We hope you will visit again — and ask questions! We are offering worship in-person and online at this time.
We pray you will discern whether this is a community of faith where you want to nurture and grow in the faith. If it is, there will be invitations to a Newcomer’s Dinner, Newcomer’s Class, and New Member Liturgy set for a later date.
If you have any questions, please ask – or email the church office at: connect@st-liz.org
